Road safety film advising children on crossing roads. The kerb drill is rehearsed, safe practise demonstrated to a class by their teacher, and various safe places to cross are shown. The film details the right and wrong way to cycle on the road, including some dramatised accidents. The unforseen consequences of a mishap for one young lad are depicted (he is unable to captain the school cricket team) and the film ends with Test cricketer Alec Bedser and Charlie the Chimp endorsing the road safety code.
