MAKING A SLAB POT AND DECORATING WITH SLIP | |||

Two potters, Harold and D Thornton, are shown making a slab pot, decorating it and then firing it in a kiln. Following a shot of a finished slab pot, a pot is designed, and the clay slabs are created. The slabs are joined together one at a time and sealed. There are shots of the assembled pot being embellished, glazed and painted with a design. The film concludes with the slab pot being placed in a kiln alongside other creations, fired, and the finished product being displayed to the camera. Next we see the Stark children in the bath and then put to bed followed by beach scenes with Dawn playing with a ball.
