Every day life on a homestead is disrupted after the men folk embark on a working trip in a forest to cut down trees. Meanwhile a gang of bandits attack the homestead resulting in the kidnap of Helen. But help is at hand from the menfolk after they are informed of the dramatic events. Back at the bandit's camp, Helen manages to attach a note to her dog's collar. Helen is rescued but Jim her husband is badly wounded. Bandit moll Lil becomes infatuated with Jim while he is held at the camp. She releases him, but when her charms are rejected she kills herself. Jim finds his way home and is reunited with Helen and the family. | |||
