Mark plays with a toy wheelbarrow and helps his mum with the gardening. We next see Mark jumping in the puddles as it rains and looking through binoculars wearing a sea captain's cap. After sweeping the driveway we see Mark with a bucket and spade on the beach at Abersoch, then Mark on a speedboat ride and petting a horse. After scenic views of the Welsh countryside Mark paddles in the sea with his mum. Preparing a sail boat and putting a lifejacket on Mark before he gets into the boat with two other children and sails in the shallows. Mrs Samuels flying a kite then Mark and his dad in a yellow sports car. Mark sleeping then being tickled by his dad and jumping on the bed. The film ends with Mark playing with a toy tool kit in the garden.

LOWER WITHINGTON ROSE QUEEN FESTIVAL 7TH JULY 1973

The festival parade begins with a marching band, a girls' dance troupe, men in fancy dress collecting money for charity and decorated floats pulled by tractors. The Rose Queen and her retinue arriving at the show ground in a horse-drawn carriage followed by the coronation ceremony. Prizes are awarded by the Rose Queen to the best fancy dress and decorated float.
 
 
 
[SALFORD UNIVERSITY HALLS OF RESIDENCE 1]

Scenes at Salford University's three halls of residence (Davy Hall, Joule Hall and Faraday Hall) as students arrive. Various methods of arrival are on show - arriving with parents, driving one's own VW Beetle or merely walking in with a rucksack. Promotional film from Manchester Polytechnic Department of Management, with an introduction by Sir Alex Smith, Director of the Polytechnic. After this, there are animated diagrams of the management programmes on offer. The film then shows various of the courses and of student life: studying on the factory floor, report writing and office skills, role play, plus the library, canteen and bar. There is also footage of the department building, Hilton House.
 
 
 
A Home For New Ideas

A promotional film for Rufflette curtain products - a newly married couple ("Jack and Suzie") move into a new house and tackle the thorny issue of soft furnishings. Through a series of 'fantasy' sequences, Suzie imagines and then realises all of her curtain desires with the help and hindrance of her nice mother-in-law, her nagging mother, Jack and an avuncular voice-over man. The film climaxes in a dinner party.

[ST ALBAN'S CHURCH ACTIVITIES - 1973 AND 74]

Compilation of events during 1973 and 1974 at St Alban's Church, Blackburn. Views of the church hall and school. The Good Friday Procession is seen, with a cross being carried through the streets before an outdoor Mass is held. There are rooftop views of the church and surrounding area, probably taken from a crane. Bi-Centenary Mass is seen on 20 June 1966 and several members of the congregation are seen with Papal medals, including John Conlon, a local school master. Good Friday and the May Procession in 1974, as well as a service in the church grounds for Corpus Christi in the same year.
