We see a boy in a field with a flock of sheep, fully laden carts being pulled by oxen and horses, a man with his cows and other scenes of the local people as they go about their lives. We see the Pallanza Battle of Flowers where there is a procession of horse drawn floats, heavily decorated with flowers. The people on the floats throw flowers at the crowds of spectators. | |||

We then see shots of Blackpool seafront on what the filmmaker describes as 'a rough day'. There follow scenes from the opening day of S.S. Bowling Club. There is a group shot of the club members and we see the president's speech, as well as 'the first wood'. Next we have scenes from Fairhaven Lake and a visit to Natland where people enjoy a picnic and paddling in a stream. There are scenes from a wedding. The guests throw confetti on the newlyweds before they get into the wedding car. Finally there are scenes from an air circus at Stanley Park where we see biplanes taking off and circling above. | |||
