A group of choirboys stand in the churchyard as the guests, bridesmaids and finally the bride arrive at the church. The bride and groom exit the church and pose for photographs then leave as confetti is thrown. At the reception the wedding party including clergymen walk towards the camera before the happy couple depart in their own car as more confetti is thrown.

There are also shots of a forest, a lake and a church. Children are seen playing. A bridge is seen before footage from Quebec, Canada, including shots from a native Canadian settlement. For Geoff's second birthday, there is a picnic in the woods, and Geoff is also seen playing near the windmill at Lytham and in the sandpit at home.

Film about the work of Kathleen Heron, a handloom weaver, at her rural workplace in Embsay near Skipton in Yorkshire. Shots of Miss Heron spinning wool using a treadle wheel are followed by a brief shot of sheep in a field. The dyeing process and the sources of dye are shown, with Miss Heron seen collecting lichen from stone walls followed by shots of flowers in her garden. The dyed wool is seen hanging up to dry, before the film cuts to Miss Heron winding wool and then weaving on her handloom. There are shots of rural views from her window. The film ends with Miss Heron displaying her work to the camera. BURNLEY ACCIDENT PREVENTION COUNCIL; CHILDREN'S ROAD SAFETY TRAINING SCHEME

Scenes from a children's road safety training event held at Queen's Park in Burnley. Local dignitaries arrive at the park where a scaled-down road layout has been constructed. Children ride bicycles and tricycles safely around the layout, instructed and guided by police officers. Various supporting events are shown including an inspection of sea cadets, a dancing display, a Punch and Judy show, a 'best-trained dog' competition and various races. Prizes are handed out to children at the park and inside a local cinema. Moss family holidays (with friends and nanny) to Bournemouth and Blackpool - Judith Moss is seen playing on the beach with a bucket and spade, in the hotel garden and on a family boat trip. Footage of Judith at home and in a local park in Manchester is followed by brief slow motion sequences on the beach and riding on fairground attractions. Also includes shots of a circus with clowns and unicyclists.

Scenes from Lymm Agricultural Society Show in August 1947, members of the public walk around, men prepare their horses before taking part in the show jumping event. Tom Taylor of Stockton Heath is featured riding both Jorrocks and Leicester Lad. Tom Taylor can later be seen competing in the Warrington Horse Society Show in June 1947. Prizes and trophies are then presented to the winners.

Footage of schoolboys' sports day events at Old Hall School. The film begins with hurdles and relay races and cups and certificates are distributed. A large group of schoolboys march in file and take part in group exercise routines; after a brief shot of the Brickhill family enjoying a roadside picnic, we see the boys again in an egg and spoon race and doing more exercise routines.
