He greets the women (who are not in uniform) as they get off a 'North Western' bus, and shows them around the gardens and grounds. The women participate in various fun races and are seen eating their lunch around tables on the lawn. Includes a shot of the buffet table. Staff are seen taking the covers off the food. A local Stockport 'Wireless Services Van' provides musical accompaniment outside in the garden. Two men stand next to the van winding up the gramophone.
