Compilation reel of Blackpool footage, including scenes on the seafront and at the Pleasure Beach; the aftermath of the R.H.O. Hills department store fire in 1967 with firemen damping down the remains of the fire, and the later demolition of the wrecked building. There are also scenes inside a menswear shop; a panoramic view from the top of the Tower; animals in the confines of Tower Zoo, and very rough seas crashing over the promenade. The reel ends with shots of the ‘Moby Dick’ sailing ship berthed at Morecambe seafront.

Scenes from the first few years of Linda's life. We first see her as a newborn baby in her pram, and then when she is a few months older we see her playing in the house and garden. There is footage shot over 4 years of visits to the well dressings at Tissington, and they also visit Eyam, Haddon Hall and Monsal Dale. Scenes from trips to the Lake District including Grizedale, Ullswater, Pooley Bridge, Windermere, Stock Ghyll, Loweswater, Buttermere and Grasmere. In Wales we see Mold, Ruthin, Butlins Pwllheli, Llangollen, Chirk Castle , Ruthin Castle and Snowdonia National Park. There are also scenes from Shropshire where we see Shrewsbury and Hodnet Hall Gardens.

Scenes on a lake or reservoir of a man on a mini-hovercraft/jet-ski type vehicle. Also, the construction of Tameside Town Hall and the building of the Ashton by-pass. Also views of the Ashton skyline from a high vantage point. Interspersed with odd shots of a dog, a houseplant, the sunset and a helicopter.
 
 
 
[KINGSWAY TUNNEL - CEREMONIES AND TUNNEL LINING]

Various dignitaries are seen in the Kingsway tunnel between Liverpool and Wallasey during its construction. Sections of concrete lining for the tunnel are unloaded and fitted into place and there are rostrum views of the work being carried out, and of a civic ceremony inside the tunnel. A small train is seen removing spoil from a service tunnel, and there are views of a ventilation shaft and the tunnel entrance.
