Campsite scenes followed by a visit to the Spanish Arch in Galway before struggling to erect tents in a gale force wind. The boys diving in the sea, walking in Galway and cooking fresh mackerel for dinner. Hiking in Warwickshire with the boys walking in Stanton and Stow-on-the-Wold. Views from a train approaching Carlisle followed by the boys queing for campsite food. The boys walking in the grounds of Fernehirst Castle then playing football with a tennis ball. The film ends with the Bolton school boys and teachers waiting for the 'Windsor Lad' steam train.

Stopping at Gisburn on route for a meal, the group are seen shopping on Lord Street, walking along the sea front and at Pleasureland.
