They are seen playing football and cricket, on an obstacle course and having a bonfire for the Silver Jubilee. The lads go swimming in the local river, some take part in a football match in Aberystwyth, while others watch a passing cycle race. Inspection back at camp prior to departure, although a group stay behind to clear up the site. Brief views of boys going into the club's building in Ordsall conclude.

The finale at the Opera House, hosted by Stuart Hall, sees the 1977 Coal Queen being crowned. Ends with a closing address by the Chairman and shots of miners' families enjoying fireworks and rides at the Pleasure Beach. Underexposed shots of children in party hats at Vanessa's 5th birthday party. The Moss family on a beach, climbing rocks, playing football and paddling in the sea. After brief scenes of a school trip to a zoo we have tennis scenes from Wimbledon. The film ends with a fete held by cub scouts and children playing in a garden.

Scenes from a Moss family holiday in Israel begins with watching traffic then diving and swimming in a pool. Whilst walking in the countryside we see an armoured vehicle and tank. People diving and swimming in a river then the Moss children building sandcastles and on the slide in a beach playground. After seacaves the Moss family visit Acre, see boys playing football in a square and explore a Crusader castle. The Moss family in a garden with an elderly couple then the film ends with more beach scenes.

A record of events held in Burnley and District in celebration of the Queen's Silver Jubilee. After rooftop views of Burnley we see the organising committee at Burnley Town Hall followed by a parade through the town and a service at St Peters church. Next we have a concert at the high school for girls by the Simmons College Chorale from Boston USA, an art exhibition and the Jubilee Tattoo at Townley Hall Park which features various funfair rides and display teams on the show ground. After the Jubilee Bonfire we have nice scenes of 4 street parties. The surrounding villages of Cliviger, Worsthorne and Hadgate have their own Jubilee parades with fancy dress and decorated floats as well as sports events and dog shows. An amateur production of 'The Arcadians' held at Townley Park is next followed by the Northern Youth Championship Band Contest.

The Over Peover Jubilee celebrations begins with children erecting tents and inflating beds on a campsite. Events are held throughout the day these include children's country dancing, knobbly knees competition and children's running races. A fortune teller reads the cards while in the village hall the cake and flower arrangement competitions are held before the villagers enjoy refreshments of tea and sandwiches. After more dancing and egg and spoon races there is a barbecue with sausages and burgers. There are various stalls such as a crockery shy, ten pin bowling, darts and hoopla to help raise funds. The film ends with the children eating, singing and dancing around the bonfire.
