Stretford Pageant is seen in 1931 and 1932 - in 1932 the theme of the pageant was the Commonwealth, and each float represented a different country. There is a boy's football match at the Manchester Schools' Sports Day, and pupils from Princess Road School in Stretford are seen in the countryside on an outing. | |||

Family in the garden before the parents look around the shops. Later a group of people stand on the front doorstep posing and joking around for the camera. The next scenes show the family on holiday at a caravan park, they visit the beach where father and son play some football. A signpost points to Chatsworth. The group enjoy a picnic before looking around Chatsworth House. The group arrive at Prestatyn Holiday Camp via car in the rain. A crowd of people gather around a swimming pool to watch a live show. Next is a trip to Alton Towers where they look around the gardens. In the next section of the reel we see wedding guests waiting outside a church and greet the Bride when she arrives, later the happy couple pose for photographs outside the church. The wedding party then head to the reception, inside the newlyweds can be seen cutting the wedding cake. The next scene takes place in Oulton Park motor racing circuit, shots of various racing cars competing in the race. The reels ends with scenes of another wedding. Guests and members of the wedding party arrive, soon followed by the bride. After the ceremony the married couple pose for photographs outside the church before having confetti thrown on them. The guests arrive at the reception and chat to each other, shots of the wedding cake inside the reception. | |||
