Members of the Hill, Welch and Rendell families are seen on holiday in Anglesey, playing on the beach and swimming in the sea. Shots of their campsite, and they visit the Ty Newydd ancient monument and go boating. The Welch children are also seen building a model railway on a sand-castle.

Moss family visits to Israel in the late 1940s and the mid 1960s. Reel 1 William Moss, family and friends on a 1949-50 visit to Israel. The reel begins with the Weiser family on a hotel balcony and shots of local women collecting water from a well, then carrying containers along on their heads. Arab peoples are seen on the streets of Nazareth. Footage includes a road trip around Upper Galilee and the Huleh Valley. Various sequences show members of a religious kibbutz in the grounds of the settlement and while having a meal. William Moss is seen riding on the back of a camel and family friends, including Lucy and Harry Weiser pose for the camera. There are brief shots of Tel Aviv sea front and a panoramic view of Haifa Bay. Concludes with shots of a desert landscape, cloud formations and a sunset seen from the window of an aircraft. Reel 2 A mixed compilation showing visits to Israel in 1949-50 and the mid 1960s. Shots include an aeroplane taking off at Manchester Airport then arriving in Amsterdam, with air views of landscapes below. Men are seen snorkelling in the Bay of Haifa. Street scenes along Allenby Street in Tel Aviv and people sunbathing on sea front. A young girl (possibly Amira Weiser) wears a head-dress dances in front of the camera on a balcony and is later seen playing with other family members on the beach and swimming in the sea. There is a sequence showing building construction at the Rebecca Sieff WIZO Centre for the Family (Jerusalem Baby Home). Concludes with a visit to Caesarea and the Dead Sea during the mid 1960s, with some brief shots of an Italian holiday in Rome showing Piazza del Popolo, St Peter's Square and the Roman Forum. Reel 3 1960s footage of a Moss family holiday with showing visits to Jerusalem and the Old City and beach scenes at Herzliya and Haifa. Family members are seen diving into a hotel pool, swimming in the sea and posing for the camera. Shots include trips to king Solomon's Mines, the Gesher Haviz Kibbutz Guest House and the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.

Vanessa is also seen playing on a tricycle in the back garden and, as a baby, being bathed and changed by her nanny.

Also features footage from a holiday to North Wales, Castles and coastal areas are seen as is a woman in traditional Welsh costume. There is footage of a whit walk and of a church wedding. Includes visits to Morecambe and Blackpool - people playing pitch and putt golf and water-skiing. There are shots of Blackpool sea front and Pleasure Beach, including footage taken from a cable car. Closes with brief shots of an airport, people posing for photographs after a wedding and an old house.

[CELEBRATING A HUNDRED YEARS OF METHODISM IN WHITEWELL BOTTOM, 5TH TO 13TH MARCH 1949]

Church members celebrate one hundred years of Methodism in Whitewell Bottom; 5th - 13th March 1949. The congregation are seen leaving the chapel on a winters day - A group of people walk down Brock Clough Road and assemble to sing hymns and listen to an open air sermon. Further activities and events include Whitewell Bottom Wesleyan Sunday School's procession on the 1st May 1949 and civic dignitaries attending the reopening of Whitewell Bottom Chapel on the 3rd October 1954.
 
 
 
SOME ZOO FRIENDS, A DAY IN CAMP, SWITZERLAND 1954

The first features animals in Manchester and Edinburgh zoos; the second is a record of a day in camp made by the 7th Heriot scout troop, and shows the boys getting up, packing their kit bags, chopping wood, cooking, and swimming. The final film is a tour of Switzerland, with visits to Berne and Geneva as well as mountain scenery, lakes and waterfalls.

Moss family holidays to Henley-on-Thames, Belgium and the French Riviera. Boats sail down the River Thames and a young Judith Moss chases pigeons. The family Bentley car is hoisted onto a ferry as they prepare to set sail for Belgium. Judith and Freda Moss play with friends on Ostend sea front pushing a toy car and having donkey rides, and a group of children play on the beach as linking hands and dancing. Footage includes a visit to Bruges showing the Market Square and cafes, female members of the family pedal a vehicle on the promenade of Knokke and Judith Moss takes a motorboat ride with her father William on a lake. The reel continues with shots of houses near Le Souts, more beach scenes and the ferry returning home to Dover. Vanessa and Judith Moss are later seen playing at their family home and playing on the beach at Juan-les-Pins

Shot of Matt Busby jogging and a match between Manchester City and Manchester United.
