Very underexposed shots (due to lighting conditions) of marchers dancing indoors. The March continues into Blackburn, with more speeches. After a break in the video we have an event held at the Higher Folds Community Centre in Leigh, all of which is mute unfortunately. It begins with a children's event then live music from local band Watt, another children's event with a group of singers/performers on stage and a look at three adults drinking and taking part in a lucky dip at the bar. | |||

The official party then visits the Dainichi Sykes Robotics factory at Walton Summit Again a crowd is present, a banner for Preston and District Textile Trades Federation is visible, as are the police and press. Film of the demolition of Courtaulds chimneys at Red Scar. The demolition site is seen prior to the blast as are a crowd, gathered behind a rope. Stewards, police and camera crews are in evidence. The demoltion is seen from several angles, the crowd applaud. One of the camera crews is seen filming an interview with an old man who had been involved in building the chimneys - he is later seen searching through the rubble for souvenirs. The film closes with shots of the rubble strrewn blast site. | |||
