The first batch of the beer is given the taste test, then honey is collected from Jack Hobbs at Kersal Vale in Salford and Adrian Rhodes at Manchester Cathedral before being added to the beer at the Red Willow Brewery in Macclesfield. | |||

The proprietor Ismail Mallu, who runs the Northern Quarter café with his son Mohsin, talks about his roots and introduction to cooking, the variety and diversity of food from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and how British tastes in curry have evolved over the years. He also describes how This and That was established, becoming a highly popular venue with a wide and enthusiastic clientele, and there are shots of meals being prepared and served. Several customers talk about their love of the café and note how it has also provided help and support for the wider community, for example on the night of the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017. | |||

| A record of the creation, construction, installation and unveiling of the bronze statue of Emmeline Pankhurst in St Peter’s Square, Manchester. Councillor Andrew Simcock relates the history of the project, while sculptor Hazel Reeves welcomes a group from Manchester to her Brighton studio to see her work in progress, and talks about her collaboration with life model Sarah Jenkins. There are scenes in the foundry where the statue is cast, and ground preparation work in St Peter’s Square, followed by the opening of the meeting circle on 15th July 2018. Finally, the grand unveiling of the Pankhurst statue takes place on 14th December, with processions arriving from around the city, Manchester Community Choir performing, and speakers Naga Munchetty and Helen Pankhurst, great-granddaughter of the Suffragette. | |||
